Custom oil lamps for a Swedish home furnishings brand

A Swedish home furnishings brand wanted to upgrade one of their metal oil lamps to a 300ml glass oil lamp. We were required to adjust the neck finish dimensions to suit the lampholder, and customize the glass body color, glass shade, and color box packaging while maintaining the original bottle shape and neck finish function.

The oil lamp features a custom lampholder design which requires custom glass neck finish that precisely fits the lampholder.

The lampholder thread end must be oriented 90% relative to the front of the lamp body after assembly.

We also needed to maintain consistency in the bottle body color, lampshade dimensions, and color-box packaging.

Based on the metal oil lamp sample provided, our engineering, design and production teams conducted an overall assessment and developed drawings.

After three rounds of sample production and assembly testing, we continued to adjust the neck finish design and its fit with the lampholder.

We settled on a plastic-and-metal lampholder solution, which ensures both the desired appearance and assembly alignment.

After the sample was verified by the customer, the project entered mass production phase.

The final product met appearance, assembly orientation, and packaging requirements.

The customer, satisfied with sample quality and project coordination, agreed to continue the long-term business relationship.
