Custom hot sauce glass bottles for a French brand

A French hot sauce brand needed 200ml custom glass bottles that retain their original packaging design while incorporating a custom threaded neck finish compatible with the specified caps.

The slim bottle neck made glass forming more difficult and increased the risk of glass accumulation in the neck areas and inconsistent wall thickness in the bottle body.

In addition, the neck dimensions needed to allow easy filling and dispensing and also fit the caps specified by the customer.

Our design, development and production teams assessed the bottle structure and developed several plans for the bottle neck and neck finish. After the client selected the plan, we verified the drawings, 3D-printed the prototypes, developed the molds and produced the samples. We then made adjustments based on sample feedback and eventually finalized the bottle shape, capacity, and cap fit for mass production.

By verifying drawings, 3D prototypes and product samples in stages, the customer was kept up-to-date with the project progress, reducing tooling risk.

The products met appearance, capacity, and closure requirements specified by the customer and entered mass production.
